My Approach

Psychotherapy grounded in what matters means working with what is already present—rather than trying to override or fix it.

This work is not built from quick fixes or polished answers. It grows from tending what is already there, and learning how to stay with what is real.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and have already done a great deal of internal work. Yet certain patterns, relationships, or experiences continue to feel stuck or unresolved.

In our work together, we move at a pace that respects your capacity. This often means developing greater awareness of your internal experience, building tolerance for difficult emotions, and creating the conditions for integration rather than forcing change.

I integrate relational psychotherapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based approaches. Rather than focusing on symptom reduction alone, the work is oriented toward deeper understanding, nervous system regulation, and sustainable change.

Roots & Roughage reflects a belief that meaningful growth involves both grounding and challenge—developing stability while making space for complexity, discomfort, and change.

Growth rarely happens in perfectly controlled conditions. It often requires patience, honesty, and a willingness to engage with what is real.
